The Woodlands Marriott is offering a special rate for the Joint Military Service Academies Ball of (Coming Soon), compared with the usual fee of at least $129 per night rate. Call the Marriott and ask for the "Joint Military Rate" when making your reservation.
Why: To honor the commitment of our Cadets and Midshipmen who are currently in training to become military officers of tomorrow

Please Donate: Can you donate a Military Ball prize? Or solicit donations? Or be a sponsor? By contributing, we can encourage these fine young men and women as they prepare to serve their country. And you can show them how Houston recognizes their dedication to their country.
Please volunteer to help with the Military Ball Preparations
Volunteers are always wanted and appreciated! You are needed to make this a special evening for all the military school cadets and midshipmen. With the responsibility of the Joint Military Service Academies Ball falling to the USAFA parents this year, we want to make this fabulous beyond expectations. But it is possible only with you.
We need helping hands and great ideas during the year and on the day of the Military Ball. Please take a moment and see where you can make the difference. Contact the committee head of your choice.

Please join the Southeast Texas U.S. Air Force Academy Parents’ Association for its Spring Meeting. A Chicken Marsala lunch will be served promptly. Cost is $11:00 per person. We will honor the parents of graduating 1st degrees, meet the parents of the new 2012 appointees, review the success of the charity golf tournament and present new plans, dates, locations and events that you will not want to miss! This is the special 2007 parent's send-off.
The next meeting will be at the Event Center. Steve and Carmen Collins who own the Event Center have hosted a years worth of meetings. This is a wonderful venue for parties and weddings with two separate party rooms. Please call Steve for your next event at 713-742-5800. The Center is located at 5800 Airline Dr., Houston, TX 77076.

Flight of Excellence will chronicle the story of a year in the life at the United States Air Force Academy. From in-processing, basic training, doolie life, to third class, graduation and onto a career, this publication will record the rich texture of 50 years of cadet life through special stories and vignettes of Academy graduates. Flight of Excellence will demonstrate how different classes dealt with and overcame Academy challenges, while consistently living by and reflecting the four pillars and the commitment to excellence. |
